Barbara Laffer, Vice President and Senior Commercial Escrow Officer, plays an integral role on the Commonwealth team. With over 38 years of experience in the escrow industry, Barbara brings a wealth of knowledge to her current position.
 
Although well-versed in all aspects of Escrow, Barbara specializes in complex, high liability, high profile, commercial transactions. She has built an impressive reputation for herself, and is highly respected for her expertise, knowledge, and skills on how to handle extremely challenging commercial transactions. Barbara understands that no two transactions are ever the same and has an acute ability for quickly recognizing the personality of each project, and then proceeding to manage it accordingly.

Barbara and her husband are avid travelers, and are the proud owners of several Border Collies; one of which is currently nationally ranked as the No. 5 Border Collie in the U.S.
